The success of this system is dependent on the improved information sharing; knowledge exchange; enhanced evidenced-based planning and evaluation that occurs as a result of the work.

Tamarack develops and supports collaborative strategies that engage citizens and institutions to solve major community issues across Canada and beyond. Tamarack’s vision is to build a connected force for community change.
The mission of the Ontario Trillium Foundation is to build healthy and vibrant communities throughout Ontario by strengthening the capacity of the voluntary sector through investments in community-based initiatives. The Foundation provides grants to Ontario's charitable and not-for-profit organizations working in the arts and culture, environment, human and social services, and sports and recreation sectors.
Collective Impact is a framework to tackle deeply entrenched and complex social problems. It is the commitment of a group of actors from different sectors to a common agenda for solving a complex social problem. In order to create lasting solutions to social problems on a large-scale, organizations — including those in government, civil society, and the business sector — need to coordinate their efforts and work together around a clearly defined goal.
Ontario's Maternal Newborn and Early Child Development Resource Centre supports service providers across the province of Ontario working on health promotion initiatives to enhance the health of expectant and new parents, newborns and young children.
